  Tom is the founding principal of Kelly Underwriting Services. He has spent his entire 30+ year insurance career underwriting various professional liability products on behalf of specialist insurers. He has a proven track record of generating profitable results for carriers. For nearly twenty years he has represented the London market as a lead underwriter for multiple underwriting facilities. Armed with a vision, experience and an entrepreneurial spirit, Tom created Kelly Underwriting Services. He is proud that Underwriters at Lloyd's of London have entrusted Tom and the firm as an appointed Lloyd’s Coverholder. Tom is an avid sports fan and a poor golfer.

 Darren Racine is the Vice President of Kelly A&E.  Darren has over twenty years of professional liability experience both as a wholesale broker and as an underwriter. He has previously worked at a large national firm and at a regional independent firm placing professional liability risks. He specialized in placing A&E and Miscellaneous E&O risks. Prior to joining Kelly, Darren worked at a national underwriting company underwriting A&E, Allied Medical, and Miscellaneous E&O.  Darren enjoys paddle boarding, and spending time with his wife watching their four children compete at their chosen sport (baseball, basketball, cross country, football, and soccer). 

  Brian Kirschner joined Kelly Underwriting in 2020 and works as a Junior Underwriter. He supports all members of the company in their administrative duties and also underwrites MPL and Insurance Agents risks. Brian is a 2020 graduate of The University at Buffalo, where he majored in Business Administration. Brian is an avid golfer, tennis player and fan of the TV show Mad Men.
